A new calendar

I found a new web based calendar which I love. It's collaborative, so I can edit it, as can my wife. Adding an entry is very straightforward - just type something along the lines of "vacation Aug 1-Aug 9 tag vacation". It will create an entry from August 1 through to August 9th indicating a vacation, and tagged that way to help find these entries.

Very very cool, take a look:

Interesting - looks better than the Yahoo calendar I use. Watch out though - you'll check in the morning and see your afternoon clear and when you check later it'll say you have to pick up drycleaning, take the kids to little league and then make a salad for the neighborhood potluck ....

I do like it a lot, but I hadn't thought about the downside you mention. Hmmm. Well, I don't do dry cleaning - I'm a washing machine sort of guy, and salads don't appeal to the Yorkshire man in me. But Little League is a distinct possibility ...

Looks like just the thing for our family to get things in order.

Michael, I'm happy Ashley's finding it useful. Look at JoJo's comment above though, and be cautious about what you may have unleashed.

It's my fave web tool of 2006 so far ...
